Sunday, March 1, 2009 ~ RIP, great grandmother.

Today afternoon went to grandmother's house again for another ceremony, and also the last.
Had breakfast and went ahead with the ceremony.We had to sit around the coffin while the monks made a really loud sound with a round metal thing, i almost went deaf! While they were doing that, i saw one my relatives crying, felt really sad. After that , we put the coffin into a truck and we started making our way to the cremation area. But before we got on to the bus , we had to follow the truck as it slowly moved ahead, on foot, without shoes, on the hot road. After waking a while, the monk told us to stop, then we knelt infront of the coffin and prayed for a bit, then we went onto the bus.

When we got to the cremation area, the monks put the coffin on a wierd stretcher and pushed it ahead for the cremation. While i was making my way there, i was thinking about how the cremation was going to happen.Then i made a conclusion that we would put the coffin on a bunch of firewood and set it on fire. Man was i wrong. It turned out that the coffin would be put into a furnace sort of thing and slowly be burned. Technology sure is advanced! Either that or i really need some catching up-to-date to do. While the coffin was being pushed in, more of my relativies cried, i almost could not hold back my tears.RIP , great grandmother.

We went back to the void deck of my grandmother's block to have lunch and went back home. Me and my sis bought mash potato at 7-11 and went up.While walking up, i saw the rain fall like snow, and i started to wonder, since the Earth's plates are moving, wouldn't it be possible for Singapore to be moved away from the equator, and have 4 seasons?Comment about my wierd theory in my chatbox pls. End for blogging today, tomorrow got school again~ woohoo~
